As
a "City" trained Chartered Accountant qualifying in 1982, Alan
Mackinnon was involved with major clients, managing the audits of Tesco, Bespak plc and Currys Electrical.
He joined the property
and construction group Wilshier Plc in 1985 (turnover circa £300m) and
was appointed Group Finance Director in the early 1990's.
Subsequent to the sale
of the Group in the late 1990's to a continental buyer, he joined Kean
Hird in Frame Investments.
